OUR IMPACT

We have been feeding minimum 300 stray animals in several different locations on a daily basis. We also provide them all necessary treatments and through our emphasis on neutering/spaying we have avoided thousands of fewer potential homeless animals per year.

We stopped the wastage of an average of 90 tons of food leftovers per annum and feed the animals wıth these leftovers collected from various companies.

PATİLİBAHÇE - OUR STORY

WE STARTED AS INDIVIDUALS..

In early 2000’s, we were each trying to feed and help stray and abandoned animals in the streets and wood areas of Zekeriyakoy and Uskumrukoy indivudually unaware of each other. As times passed by we started knowing each other and our group got bigger with the addition of new animal lovers until at end-2019 when we decided to form Patilibahçe Stray Animals Protection Association to reach our mutual aim.

THEY NEED US!

All the animals are part of the environment that we live in. We aim to provide them an environment where they can live freely without mistreatment and where we can fulfil their needs..

About Us

FEEDING LOCATIONS

As their numbers continue to increase every day we have more than 20 feeding locations on the streets and woods. We have placed wooden or stainless steel feeding stations along with embedded plastic water pots in each of these locations. We are overly sensitive in keeping the water pots full especially when they are most needed in summer months.

RESCUE STORIES

There are thousand of animals around us that are waiting for our help.

  • Was helpless when we saw her!

She had never let us approach her although we were providing her with food every day for at least a few years. One day she had her head trapped in a narrow pet bottle while trying to take the last sip. We searched her all around but it was hard to hold her. At the end of the third day when she was exhausted with no food and water we managed to get her. We were both relieved.

  • Anxious looks from a small body!

Nilgün Sarar and İdil Zaimoglu were coincidentially on their way back from vacation when they spotted the little kitten lying on the highway. Oren is now living with her friends in İdil Zaimoglu’s home.

  • Dogo gave him hope and friendship!

We found Diana in a small cage in a neighboring vet clinic. She had lost her sight due to wrong medication and her owner had abondoned her. We started accomodating Diana in a small confined area in Patilibahce. Diana became good friends with tough natured but caring Dogo and had daily walks together until its adoption.

ADOPT NOW!

We are very careful and sensitive in the adoption process of our animals.

If you are planning to adopt an animal please fill out the attached form, adoption form and contact us. We will be returning to you shortly
